Celebrating Success & Promoting Independence: Intro and Why

At the core of our efforts to teach academics, and social, emotional, and behavioral skills, is the goal of helping students learn to be independent and socially responsible human beings. We want to begin with the end in mind. As educators, we try to provide the assistance our students need to help them reach their full potential now and as adults. This will require us to plan and focus our efforts on promoting their independence and self-reliance and celebrating success along the way.
