Locking, Securing, & Unlocking FBAs, BIPs, & Simple BIPs

Behavior Advantage allows users to Lock and secure FBAs, BIPs, and Simple BIPs that the user created.

Locking a FBA, BIP, or Simple BIP

• Simply click the red Lock button in the FBA/BIP or Simple BIP menu on the left side of the screen.

• A Locked FBA/BIP or Simple BIP cannot be edited by anyone except the user who created the file.
• A Locked FBA/BIP or Simple BIP can still be Cloned and edited by other users who have access to that student's file.

Unlocking a FBA, BIP, or Simple BIP

• Simply click the green Unlock button in the FBA/BIP or Simple BIP menu on the left side of the screen.

• An Unlocked FBA/BIP or Simple BIP can be edited by anyone with access to the student's file.
• Note:  If the user who created the file cannot be found to Unlock a file that needs to be edited, then contact Behavior Advantage or an organizational administrator to override the Locked file.
